Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company (BPC) is Palestine's leading manufacturer of generic medicines. With a broad portfolio of products that consist more than 300 products distributed among ten production lines and covering different therapeutic ranges, BPC targets all types of customers in the local Palestinian market including Ministry of Health, Local and international health care organizations and programs, end users (through pharmacies and physicians). BPC market is not limited to the Palestinian Territory; the company has a well-established presence in different key export markets – mainly Algeria and East Europe and is continuously targeting new markets.

Dimensions was contracted by Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Company (BPC), to provide a wide range of consulting services, focusing on building BPC’s capacities and systems in institutional development and planning in addition to transform their IT systems (Software and Hardware)  in a state-of-the-art technology. 

he Project started with developing a new strategic framework for the Company, in addition to articulating a five-year work-plan that reflects the company’s future direction and potential of expansion. The transformation included the following steps:  

1. Identifying key performance indicators for BPC and its subsidiaries. 
2. Developing organizational development interventions that are needed in order to fulfil the plan’s objectives.
3. Building BPC administrative units’ capacities and capabilities in the preparation of procedure manuals, management and follow-up of implementation plans.
4. Developing the procedure manuals for all administrative department at BPC. 
5. Reviewing and Developing BPC HR Department and Payroll. 
6. Re-organizing and the development of BPC Charts of Accounts and Financial Procedure Manuals. 
7. Analyzing BPC ICT (Software and Hardware) in order to come up with a bundle of key software’s and systems
8. Development of an effective ICT transformation solution, connecting and integrating BPC’s departments and improving Production, CRM, HR, Financial, and ERP Solutions.
